Pop songstress Ariana Grande is really living up to her motto from her hit song ‘7 Rings’. She saw it, she liked it, she wanted, and she got it.
And by it, we mean these two new real estate properties she recently bought. Let’s take a peek at her recent June house haul.
Refurbished Home
First is a $6.75 million home in Montecito known as Porter House and there’s a lot going for it. For starters, the property’s two barns actually originate from 18th century England before being shipped and rebuilt on Californian soil.
Today, it takes the form of a 5,500-square-foot, two-bedroom residence. Its listing describes the property as a whimsical and sophisticated one. Inside, the home features wavy woodwork, a solarium, and a lounge.
Outside, the residence is surrounded by stone walls and blooming flowers, which further add to the estate’s overall fairytale-like vibe.
Aside from its colorful history, the home also boasts of having celebrity pedigree. It was formerly the property of comedian and house flipper Ellen DeGeneres, who reportedly refurbished the home at the beginning of 2020.
Total Opposite
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old singer also recently got her hands on a new home in Hollywood Hills. The opposite of her Montecito barn home, Grande’s $13.7 million purchase boasts an ultramodern style.
Word on the street is that it would also be her primary residence from now on. And she’d be in good company as the area where her Hollywood Hills home is one of the most celebrity-saturated ones in Los Angeles with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Keanu Reeves, and chef Bobby Flay.
Grande also scored a great deal on the property because she would be its first occupant even though it was built in 2018. The ‘Thank U, Next’ singer even got a huge discount for it as it was priced down multiple times from the original $25.5 million.
In total, she spent $20.45 million for her two brand new homes, a fraction of her reported $150 million net worth.
Past Residence
The songstress’ recent purchases come after five years of renting a Mediterranean-style villa, where she reportedly had a large entourage of friends and staff. Sources are saying that the group is likely vacating the home rental at the moment.
She is speculated to have paid $40,000 a month for the 6,000-square-foot mansion.
