It seems like a lot of celebrities are making real estate moves these days. Case in point is Canadian rapper The Weeknd, who just listed his home in Hidden Hills.

The artist, who was born as Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, also seems to be looking to make a huge profit on the sale. He originally bought the property in 2017 for $18.2 million and is now selling it for $25 million which is a brave move considering the current state of the luxury real estate market at the moment.

The estate includes a total of 13,400 living spaces including both the main house and the guesthouse both standing on a three-acre plot. It boasts of features like a modern wine cellar, which lighting and temperature can be controlled.

Other notable highlights include a fitness room, a media lounge, and a five-car garage that is equipped with floor LED lighting to better display vehicles.

Its listing describes the home as ‘ultra-private’ with it being surrounded by redwood trees and nestled in the hills. Safe to say another celebrity resident would feel safe to relax in the residence without being stalked by the paparazzi.

The 12,000-square-foot main house has seven of the nine bedrooms including the master bedroom, which has a full stone bath, a steam shower, and a dual closet that any celebrity would certainly appreciate.

Meanwhile, the 1,200-square-foot guesthouse has the remaining two bedrooms.

The rest of the estate’s grounds boast a resort-style vibe thanks to its olive tree-lined driveway and saltwater swimming pool. There’s also an outdoor pavilion complete with fire pits perfect for entertaining guests.

The Weeknd won’t be far from homeless though as he lets go of his Hidden Hills mansion.

Just last year, he got his hands on a penthouse in Beverly West and paid a whopping $21 million for it. The 2,555-square-foot residence features stylish furnishings, which were reportedly negotiated separately during the purchase.

The transaction saw one of the highest prices paid for a condo in the Los Angeles area since 2010.

The artist seems to have no problem spending these days though as he’s also been donating a ton of money to various causes. He just gave his hometown of Toronto $500,000 for masks amid the coronavirus pandemic.
